This luxury inn is located in Yumoto Onsen, Yamaguchi Prefecture. As an annex to a large hotel, it offers a special space spread across a wide area. The rooms are well-designed, and there are few guests, so you can relax. Recommended if you have a generous budget.

We arrived by shinkansan followed by a straight bus to the area. It was an easy walk to the ryokan from the bus stop. Most people drive though. My husband Alex and I stayed during the spring months and we were spoilt with cherry blossoms around the small quaint town. When we arrived at the ryokan we were immediately greeted by warmth and hospitable service. Every server, host and the lovely bartender were all so friendly and thoughtful. It was such a relaxing experience and a very decent sized room. We enjoyed the entire 2 days and it was worth every penny. We were impressed by the little gestures of kindness like packing extra onigiri for us for supper, and helping us contact a restaurant in Kobe to book dinner for us. Food was exceptional too! We had breakfast and dinner in our package. Highly recommend this place- Japanese tranquillity, thank you Otozure!
