About this hotel
A ryokan on the Tanohara River at the lower end of Kurokawa Onsen, about 50 minutes by bus from Aso Station. Kurokawa is known for its pass that lets you visit the public baths, and this inn is a little away from the centre. Guests can use the Kurokawa water, and there are open-air baths. A riverside road links it to the centre of town.
Who it suits
Suits a stay by the river just outside central Kurokawa: quiet, but close enough to tour the public baths. You will arrive by bus from Aso Station.
