  Was really impressed by food at the restaurant. I would say it was unexpectedly excellent. French- Japanese fusion. Every dish up to the beef main course was exciting and innovative. The beef was excellently done but maybe a tad less exciting. The hotel itself is beautiful with a really nice view of the river and the woods. The private onsen is on the balcony deck.

  The check-in experience was disappointing. No assistance with luggage, and the front desk staff seemed confused and made assumptions without properly confirming, incorrectly directing us to another building. For this price point, the hotel only deserves two stars. One star goes to the restaurant staff, who were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the other goes to the hotel’s hardware and facilities. The food was quite average.

  My weekend visit to VIALA Tokyu Harvest Club A fall visit to this luxurious resort hotel is a divine pleasure in so many ways. The staff are polite and every service is professional and thorough. The food here is outstanding and varied. The rooms are extremely comfortable, clean and feel like someone has thought of everything. My room had sliding glass doors that opened to a perfect and refreshing connection With nature in the surrounding view of trees and mountains in a pristine setting. Truly a perfect place to relax, I hope I can return many times.
