AC Hotel is part of the Marriott chain. It is lower down on the "hierarchy" so is less salubrious than Sheraton or Westin or Marriott. You wont get room service, comprehensive concierge or a range of onsite restaurants but it is nevertheless a very nice hotel. Rooms, although compact are modern and well equipped. This AC hotel is in the heart of Ginza so is ideal if you're wanting to stay in the area and not overspend on your accommodation. It is in the same complex as the Aloft and the Courtyard hotels. Small restaurant onsite offers breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a lively bar. Free takeaway coffee and small pastries is a nice touch. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room has limited space and will just fit two suitcases. This is however, fairly typical in central Tokyo. Small bar fridge, kettle, nespresso coffee machine, water filter for drinking water, hairdryer and pyjamas supplied! Clean and quiet with good air-conditioning.

The hotel is very well located in the center of Ginza. It makes it easy to move to anywhere inside of Tokyo. At the reception, Kazuna san welcomed us. She was very friendly, professional and attentive to our needs. We had separate reservations for two rooms for five nights, with each night booked individually. She gathered them all, making sure we would be able to stay in the same rooms throughout our entire stay and that both rooms would be on the same floor. On our last day, we were only able to book a Standard Room versus a Superior Room throughout most our stay and she even upgraded us. That was really nice! She made our check-in very smooth and assisted us kindly with a few other requests we had. Big thumbs up to her! Regarding the room, it is very clean and comfortable. In the Twin Rooms there is even a bathtub. The only thing that bothered us was the smell. One of the rooms had a pretty strong spices smell. One great point to this hotel is their complimentary morning take away breakfast (croissants, muffins, banana and coffee).

Not the first time in Tokyo and same hotel. Staff is amazing. Rooms clean and comfortable. Wanna mention about the breakfast: it is nice and worth its price, but there is a lot of amazing places around and if you miss your breakfast take it outside. Shuttle bus is 50m to the airport and it is as fast as taxi, but costs many times cheaper. Smoking room is in the end of the dining area if you need it. Two Marriott hotels are on the left and right, i was at Aloft, same price but AC is more comfortable as for me. And amazing sushi bar is behind the hotel. Parallel street. Worth of visiting. Ginza main street 3-4 small blocks from the hotel.
