The Andaz rooftop bar is an absolute masterpiece of a venue. Perched on the 52nd floor, the views of the glittering Tokyo skyline and Tokyo Bay are nothing short of breathtaking—if they were filming Lost in Translation today, this is where the cameras would be. The atmosphere is effortlessly chic yet relaxed, but what truly elevates the experience is the craft behind the bar. Their Old-Fashioned is executed to absolute perfection: balanced, smooth, and served with a masterclass in mixology. An essential Tokyo experience that completely lives up to the hype.

Exceptional Service — Truly Above and Beyond After staying at Andaz Tokyo 3 times, I can confidently say that the service is what truly sets this hotel apart. From the moment you arrive, everyone—from the luggage team to housekeeping—goes above and beyond. What impresses me most is their incredible attention to detail. They remember your preferences, your routines, and even the little things you need without having to ask again. Even when traveling with a baby, the level of care was exceptional. The team was thoughtful and proactive, making sure we had everything we needed and making our stays so much easier as a family. I also really appreciate the happy hour. It feels genuinely thoughtful and welcoming rather than just another hotel amenity. You can tell the team truly wants guests to enjoy their stay and feel at home. After three stays, it genuinely feels like they remember you as a guest, not just a room number. That consistency, warmth, and personalized service is what a true 5-star hotel should be. Andaz Tokyo has set the bar extremely high for us. We will definitely keep coming back.

Andaz Tokyo was nothing short of spectacular and easily one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality and some of the friendliest people we’ve encountered anywhere in the world. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views. Perched high above the city, Andaz offers panoramic vistas of Tokyo’s skyline that are simply unforgettable. Whether it was watching the city come alive in the morning or seeing the endless sea of lights at night, every view felt like a postcard. The rooftop experience was equally impressive. There’s something magical about enjoying a drink while overlooking one of the world’s greatest cities from above. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Tokyo. What stood out most, however, was the people. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the locals we met throughout our stay were incredibly kind and helpful. Japan’s hospitality is world-renowned, and Andaz embodies that spirit perfectly. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered every luxury imaginable. Every detail—from the design to the service—was thoughtfully curated to create an unforgettable experience. If you’re visiting Tokyo and looking for a hotel that combines luxury, breathtaking views, and world-class hospitality, Andaz is an easy choice. It isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience in itself. Without question, Andaz Tokyo deserves every one of its five stars, and we can’t wait to return on our next trip to Japan.
