I stayed 3 nights at the Fairmont Tokyo and unfortunately, the experience was below my expectations for this category of hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and tastefully designed and the location is convenient for the airport. However, the rooms are quite standard and nothing exceptional. What disappointed me most was the service. Some cards are not accepted, so we had to pay the deposit in cash. We also had a ¥10 000 voucher, which we tried to use at the bar. The bar is beautiful and the cocktails were excellent, but a very loud group made the atmosphere feel more like a casual neighborhood bar. I also found it unprofessional that some of the staff were chatting and laughing among themselves in front of guests. We were then asked to settle the full bill before finishing our drinks, despite having provided our room number and having the voucher. At checkout, getting the ¥10 000 voucher refunded was unnecessarily complicated. I was also uncomfortable seeing the hotel mascot, Serene, looking very nervous around guests. She is truly adorable and beautiful; I miss my dog so I was so happy to meet her; but I questioned whether this role is really suited to her personality and well-being.. Overall, a beautiful hotel, but the service and overall experience did not match my expectations.

Probably the nicest hotel you can stay at in Tokyo. The pool is unbelievable, and the view from it is incredible. The views from the rooms are just as good. The finishes throughout the entire hotel make it obvious they paid attention to every single detail. Breakfast was outstanding. The range of offerings was enormous, with selections from all kinds of different cuisines, and every single thing we tried was excellent. They were also fantastic about accommodating food allergies, which we really appreciated. The room service menu was just as good. The location is in a quieter area but still very convenient. It was easy to get pretty much anywhere in Tokyo, and we loved that things weren't hectic right around the hotel. We had a fantastic stay and the level of service was exceptional. An absolutely incredible hotel.

We had an incredible stay at the Fairmont Tokyo. The hotel is beautiful, thoughtfully and tastefully designed, but it’s the service that truly sets it apart. The warm Japanese-style hospitality adds such charm to the entire experience. Cem was outstanding from the moment we checked in, always welcoming and attentive. Bochra in the Gold Lounge was wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, along with Nasis from IRD who was fantastic. The room was wonderful, and the Gold Lounge is easily the best Fairmont Gold lounge I’ve experienced. The spa is a true treat to relax and enjoy the best views in Tokyo in comfort. Truly a five-star hotel and one I would highly recommend.
