  This great experience started with free shuttle from the train station. The hotel itself is set in well kept mature grounds. Our room (tradional with mountain view) was easily big enough to relax in. The view was picture perfect with the lawn and carp pond out front. The traditional beds could be considered hard but we all still slept well. The in house Bellview resturant was next level. We had the Japanese tasting menu at approx 15k Yen each. Seems steep but you can see where the money was put. Excellent experience and a lot of fun! Breakfast was buffet and plentiful. Really nothing to complain about. A great place making our holiday special. Oh, there is also an Onsen which was quiet and though roughly enjoyed by all.

  Our stay at Fuji View Hotel was truly unforgettable. The hotel is surrounded by a beautifully maintained park that feels more like a private forest, with countless walking paths, peaceful corners, and secluded spots to relax and enjoy nature. The views of Mount Fuji, the lake, and the surrounding mountains are simply breathtaking and will stay with us for a long time. The approach to the hotel is incredibly impressive, resembling the grand entrance to a royal palace. From the moment you arrive, you feel that this is a very special place. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The rooms are spacious and offer beautiful views, making the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast deserves special recognition. It is among the best we have experienced in Japan, with a wide selection of high-quality food and spectacular views of Mount Fuji while you dine. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team for their outstanding hospitality. We would be delighted to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay near Fuji.

  Wonderful hotel. A bit out of town but they have a free shuttle bus that needs to be booked to ride. It meets the train. There is also a local bus service that stops at the lower gate to the hotel which we used a couple of times over the 3 days (2 night) we were there. We have an excellent room that was a bit bigger so we were told. Restaurant is 5 stars with delicious meal options. Excellent service. We paid a small fee to use their bikes. A bit small for a Kiwi but rideable. Unfortunately the weather was not favourable to see Mt Fuji otherwise this hotel would be great to the mountain from their viewing rooms on the 5th floor.
