Having previously stayed at Aman Tokyo, we were surprised by how different Amanemu feels. While both properties share the same Aman philosophy, Amanemu allowed us to experience the true essence of the brand in a much deeper and more personal way. The tranquility, connection with nature, thoughtful design, and genuine hospitality created an atmosphere that was both calming and unforgettable. A special thank you to Wataru, who made our stay even more remarkable. His warm hospitality, attention to detail, and excellent English communication made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. More importantly, he consistently found ways to make things happen and helped turn what seemed impossible into possible solutions. His dedication and willingness to go above and beyond truly reflect the spirit of Aman. Every interaction felt sincere, every detail was carefully considered, and the entire team made us feel at home. We leave with wonderful memories and a much deeper appreciation for the Aman brand. We will definitely return and look forward to experiencing Amanemu again in the future.

Amanemu is a truly exceptional retreat where rest, renewal, and a deep sense of well-being come naturally. The property is beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with its surroundings while offering complete privacy and tranquility. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, and nothing feels overlooked. What makes Amanemu truly special, however, is its people. From the moment you are welcomed at the train station to the moment you depart, the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care of the staff create an unforgettable experience. One of the finest hospitality experiences we have ever had.

The most simple and economic Aman I’ve ever been. And I visited many of them. Apart from the nice open onsen, there is not much to do at the hotel, not a single nice place to sit or relax. It looks like aman group didn’t want to spend money there. From the bag you get in the room, many details are not Aman standards. Plus, we tried to add a last minute stop in Nara on our way out to Kyoto and the staff was not able to accommodate. There are so many incredible places to go in Japan, this is not one of them.
