A room tour shows you what a hotel’s photos leave out: the size of the room, the view on an ordinary day, what breakfast actually looks like. This article collects ten luxury hotels and ryokan in Japan that English-speaking travel YouTubers have stayed at and filmed on their own channels. Every entry links to the video, so you can watch the stay for yourself.
How we chose these
- Only hotels and ryokan listed on STAYLOG
- Only videos in which the creator stays at the property and publishes it on their own channel
- We do not quote prices from video titles: rates change with the date, the room and the plan
- Checked on 4 October 2026. Videos can be made private after publication

Aman Kyoto — ST Travel
