  A little further away from the station but like the theme around being in the woods and countryside. The restaurant offers wonderful set meals for vegetarian. Sitting out on the terrace by the fire pit under a sky full of shooting stars was a wonderful experience

  Dear FUFU KARUIZAWA Team, We are big fans of FUFU, especially FUFU KARUIZAWA Wind in the Sunshine. This was our second stay, and once again, you exceeded our expectations. From the housekeeping team to management, the service was consistently excellent. Every staff member welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism. A special shout-out to the restaurant chef Takahashi and team member Wang Yao Chaing, we had a very unique food request, and we truly appreciated how thoughtfully you and your team arranged everything for us. We also want to thank Arumai San from the spa lounge. She is one of the best massage therapists we’ve experienced, and our treatment with her was wonderfully relaxing. Finally, thank you to Mr Saku for being so organized and thorough in explaining all the facilities. The attention to detail made our stay even smoother. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you again for making our stay so memorable.

  Our stay at Fufu Karuizawa from April 8th for two nights was truly exceptional — a rare experience defined by genuine care, attention to detail, and heartfelt hospitality. I would like to personally recognize Ms. Chin at the front desk for her outstanding service. Her professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness were beyond expectations. She consistently went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfectly arranged, and her thoughtful approach made us feel sincerely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. My deepest appreciation also goes to Chef Takahashi Eiji, whose dedication and kindness left a lasting impression on us. As a vegetarian with specific dietary restrictions (no onion and no garlic), I was incredibly touched that he personally prepared customized meals for me over two days. Every dish was crafted with great care and creativity, and the quality was exceptional. The vegetarian burger, in particular, was one of the best I have ever had — truly unforgettable. I must also specially mention the apple pie — without a doubt the best I had during my time in Karuizawa. It was even better than some of the well-known and highly recommended shops I tried, which made it all the more impressive. I would also like to highlight the Taiwanese staff member who served us during our meals. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making every dining experience even more enjoyable and comfortable. Another thoughtful touch worth mentioning is the hotel’s use of high-quality organic bath amenities. They were so pleasant and well-selected that I couldn’t resist purchasing some to bring home. Team members like Ms. Chin and Chef Takahashi are a true asset to Fufu Karuizawa, and I sincerely hope their excellent work is recognized. Thanks to them, our stay was not only comfortable but deeply memorable. I would highly recommend Fufu Karuizawa to anyone seeking refined hospitality, and I very much look forward to returning again.
