  We had a very relaxing stay. The room is beautifully designed and practical, making it feel like home. The service was very attentive. We stayed for two nights and the meals were all delicious. Their Swan Lake cocktail was surprising good. We would love to return again. We hope the hotel would consider adding pick up and drop off service to guests from the train station, as we have experienced in many other ryokans in Japan.

  We stayed for two nights at the hotel as part of our anniversary trip in Japan. The room is super spacious, with great view and privacy. In room onsen is also very convenient. What impressed us the most are the meals, we were totally blown away by the quality and variety of meals offered to us as part of the stay plan, so yummy and so well presented!

  I booked this Hotel as part of my Nakasendo hike. The Rooms are amazingly beautiful, big and well thought out. You feel right at home. The Onsen in the Rooms are the highlight and I have never seen something like this in Europe. They have many amenities to offer like Tea, Sweets, Sake,Coffee, a Bose Sound Box and a Mini Tablet for watching TV and YouTube Inside the Onsen. My view from the Room was calming and peacefully an I liked it alot. The service is extraordinary and even a little bit of English is not a big Problem for the very nice Staff. The Food is exceptional, i have been to many Michelin Star Restaurants and if you ask me their food quality and taste is so good that you enjoy every bite of the Course.
