I was really disappointed with the booking experience and customer service. I booked after entering through the hotel’s official 15:00 check-in / 16:00 late check-out promotion page. After clicking the reservation button, I was taken directly to the IHG booking page, where different rooms and rates were displayed. Nothing on the promotion page clearly said that certain rooms or rates were excluded, and during the booking process I did not see any clear warning saying that the room I selected would not include the advertised 16:00 late check-out. When I called the hotel to confirm, I was told that my reservation did not qualify. I tried to explain that my issue was not simply wanting an extra benefit — my issue was that the booking process made it look like I was still booking through the promotion. Instead of acknowledging how confusing the website could be, I felt like I was repeatedly treated as though I had simply made a mistake. The phone conversation lasted around 30 minutes, which was extremely frustrating. In the end, they did agree to honor the 16:00 late check-out, which I appreciate, but it should not have required such a long and uncomfortable discussion. For a hotel of this level, I expected the promotion conditions to be communicated much more clearly and the situation to be handled with more understanding. If certain rooms or rates are excluded, the booking page should simply display a clear message such as “This rate does not include the 16:00 late check-out promotion.” That would prevent this entire situation. I hope the hotel improves both the booking flow and the way similar concerns are handled in the future.

I stayed here recently with my wife for several days and the service and overall experience were exceptional. The location is just perfect for walking around and shopping. As a vegetarian I really appreciated their penne w soy-based meatballs. I travel frequently and most hotels neglect to have protein included in their vegetarian options so this stood out to me. I highly recommend this property.

Incredibly luxurious and spacious rooms. The hotel itself doesn’t offer a ton of amenities but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay nonetheless. Breakfast was good and options changed for both days we were there. Loved the harbor view. We woke up to find a large cruise ship on our second morning and it was fun watching them prepare it for departure. Soundproofing is very good, we didn’t hear the ship dock. The nearby area shops all seem to open late and close early, 11am-7pm. That made the area feel quiet which is a far cry from staying in the heart of Tokyo.
