This is our favorite hotel in the world! We took the airport limo bus from KIX and got off at Hotel Hankyu Respire/Yodobashi Umeda Tower. It was less than a 5 min walk to Intercontinental. From the moment we arrived on the property, the service was excellent. They offered to help with our suitcases and guided us to the elevators to check in on the 20th floor. We booked it through our Chase Sapphire Reserve so it came with early check in, late check out at 4pm, free breakfast, $100 food & beverage credit, welcome amenity, and room upgrade. We didn’t have time to use the $100 credit at their restaurants so we ordered bottles of alcohol to bring home with us. The hotel prepared a nice welcome gift with a bottle of local orange juice, local chocolates and candies. The room was amazing. Super clean, modern, and spacious. We loved the tub, rainfall shower, bath robes and yukatas. We also asked for pajamas that they brought up. We came during Silver week which was super busy so we did have to wait a bit in line for breakfast but it was worth it! They had a wide variety of foods: eggs, pastries, cheeses, cold cut meats, Japanese side dishes, etc. Our flight wasn’t until later on in the night so we were able to leave our bags upon check out. They brought it down to the ground floor so we didn’t need to come back to the front desk at the 20th floor to pick it up. When our hired driver came, the people working at the bell desk loaded up the car with our suitcases and even offered us a bottle of water for the trip to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to treat themselves. I can’t wait to come back.

As an IHG Platinum Elite member, I had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Osaka! The room was incredibly spacious, with a beautiful bathroom, large windows, and stunning views. The breakfast buffet was a solid 4/5, with beautiful presentation and a great selection. Room service was delicious and surprisingly affordable compared to hotels in the US. Pictured are the signature breakfast omelet, chicken wings, and black pork Kakuni donburi. Overall, an amazing hotel that I highly recommend!

The hotel is in a mall directly connected to Osaka station via a sky bridge. It is a bit of a walk from the station to the hotel entrance but the location is still very convenient. There are also a number of malls in the area. We booked through Chase the Edit and received a room upgrade. The view was quite amazing and the room was extremely spacious. There was even a walk in closet which proved to be very convenient. The bathroom was also large but it had a modern design where it was only separated from the bed room with translucent sliding doors, which may not be great if the two people staying had different sleeping schedules. Breakfast starts at 6:30 and included made to order egg dish and a buffet. The buffet spread was decent with a few hot dishes and the usual salad bar. There was surprisingly a good amount of Korean style side dishes including kimchi and spicy roe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location made it very convenient to travel to all the places we wanted to visit.
