Amazing views and service. Our residence room was super spacious and accommodated us with the chase edit floor upgrade. Amanda checked us in and gave my fiance a belated birthday cheesecake. It was probably the best cheesecake we have ever had. Compliments to the pastry chef! We will definitely stay here when we come back to hokkaido!!!
Read the full review on Google MapsWe stayed at Park Hyatt Hanazono during the summer and overall had a memorable experience. The property is stunning—beautiful interiors, spacious rooms, and a tranquil setting that makes us want to return in winter. Dining was excellent. We tried Olivio, Teppan, and Robata, and each offered delicious food with warm service. Special thanks to William from the Lounge, Jobert at Robata, and Mizuki at the Bar, who went out of their way with recommendations and genuine hospitality. Happy Hour at the Bar is also a fantastic deal—well worth taking advantage of. The hotel offered summer activities in collaboration with nearby Hanazono 308, which added variety to our stay. The one major drawback was the email communication system. Because activities and restaurants have limited space, bookings must be made through email—but each service has its own address (shuttle, restaurants, concierge, front desk). It became confusing and stressful to manage multiple chains, and replies sometimes took days. For example, we booked the summer BBQ but arrived at the Lounge only to be told it was canceled due to weather. The hotel had emailed us while we were checking in, but no one mentioned it in person. A direct notification at check-in would have saved us the scramble to make backup dinner plans. Despite this, we loved the hotel and would happily return—especially in winter to enjoy the snowy setting. With improvements to communication, this could easily be a flawless experience.
Read the full review on Google MapsHaving traveled extensively across America, Europe, and Asia—and as longtime Hilton Diamond members who usually stay at Waldorf Astoria or Conrad properties—this was our very first experience with Park Hyatt, and it blew us away completely. Is there really any other place in the world that achieves this level of perfection in its cuisine, room condition, resort amenities, and above all, its service? It has officially become the hotel of our lives. The staff’s hospitality was beyond incredible. Seeing Taeyang again—the Korean staff member who helped us during our first check-out—when we returned for our second stay made us feel so warmly welcomed. He explained every detail of the resort so thoroughly and effortlessly during both check-in and check-out. His gentle, comfortable demeanor shaped our first impression into something truly special. Hy, who also assisted with our check-in, was equally fantastic—so friendly, gracious, and seamless. Breakfast at The Lounge was a highlight of its own. We used to believe the Maldives held the ultimate crown for hotel breakfasts, but Park Hyatt Niseko gives it a real run for its money. From the fresh kaisen don to the delicate pastries and savory dishes—all crafted with Hokkaido’s finest local ingredients—even down to the coffee, every single bite was flawless. A extra special thanks to Jason and William, who took such wonderful care of us during breakfast. They proactively checked in on us throughout the meal, making our dining experience completely effortless and deeply enjoyable. While we came this time to enjoy Hokkaido’s cool summer, we left knowing we absolutely must return during the popular winter season. The incredible pool and onsen are already world-class, and we can only imagine how truly magic they will be in the snow. We cannot wait to be back!
