About this hotel
At the top of Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, with every room high up. On a clear day the view carries as far as Mount Fuji, which is why stay reports keep returning to which way a room faces.
Who it suits
Whether you have the club lounge changes the character of the stay entirely. With it, meals can stay inside the building; either way it works as a base for walking Roppongi and Akasaka.

What this place is like
Checked against the hotel’s own site. Anything we could not confirm is left out — that does not mean it is not there.
Club lounge: five servings of food and drink a day, included
The Ritz-Carlton Club lounge has four separate areas to sit in. Five servings of food and drink a day come at no charge, breakfast and a substantial afternoon tea among them. The two highest suites add butler service, transfers within a set area, a foot treatment in the room, and priority seating in the lounge.
From the editors
With five servings a day, staying on the club floor makes it easy to keep meals inside the hotel. Fewer meals out means the real cost is lower than the rate suggests.

The staff are warm and helpful, breakfast is wonderful. Everything was done well, there is a nice selection of east and western food. Location is convenient and connected to midtown Tokyo. Taking the train is easy, you dont have to walk outside. There are 3 lines which you can take from here.
Read the full review on Google MapsI've stayed at The Ritz-Carlton in Melbourne and Bali before, but this was my first time being upgraded at a Ritz-Carlton — and Tokyo really took things to another level. Marriott Status: Gold Upgrade: Yes — without even asking! 🙌 The level of customer service at The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo was truly top-notch. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. It was also my mother's birthday during our stay, and the hotel kindly treated us to complimentary breakfast. Such a thoughtful gesture and something we really appreciated. Being upgraded without even asking was another highlight. As a Gold member, this gave me a completely different impression of how The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo takes care of its Marriott Bonvoy members. The whole experience exuded luxury, but what stood out most was the service and attention to detail. They really know how to make their Gold members feel appreciated. An absolutely memorable stay. Huge thanks to the entire team for making our visit so special! ❤️
Read the full review on Google MapsRitz-Carlton Tokyo sets the bar and standard for service, accommodation, food and views that is incomparable to very few hotels in the world. This is a 5-star, spa-hotel, located in Downtown Tokyo's upscale-vibrant-trendy-entertainment, Roppongi area, with spectacular day/night views of Tokyo's skyline, Shinjuku, Imperial Palace & Mt. Fuji (on a clear day). I stayed here for 4-nights, as part of my 16-day Japan vacation with my college-aged son. In addition to Tokyo, we stayed in Kyoto, Osaka & Hiroshima. The hotel is centrally located to major subway rail lines which will help you to traverse and experience the amazing, and vast city of Tokyo, efficiently and quickly. The hotel's service and accommodation are as expected, top-class, outstanding and very attentive. We stayed in the Club Room which offered access to the Club Floor Concierge Private Lounge that served amazing breakfasts, all day food, including a chef station where you can have your custom-made eggs and other items prepared, as well as access to the Spa Floor with gym, pool, sauna & massage spa. The lounge serves breakfast, hors d'oeuvres, Afternoon Tea and cordials from 7 AM to 10 PM. We did not have time to get a massage while our stay at the hotel, since we were extremely busy immersing ourselves on the pavements of Tokyo, however we did use their gym, sauna and pool, which were remarkable. Our room was amazing with spectacular views of Tokyo, very large and comfortable beds and huge bathroom suite with showers, tub bath and an extraordinary, full-service Bugatti-of-Bidets, with seat warming, that was outstanding. The bathroom was furnished with very high-end toiletries, creams, soaps and body washes from Philosykos by Diptyque Paris. During our stay we had a nice conversation with the hotel manager, Toine, and he definitely keeps on top of things at the hotel. We expressed our great satisfaction with our impeccable experience at the hotel and with staff. Centrally located, luxurious, exceptional, attention-to-detail Japanese service! Highly recommended!!!
