Asaba
あさば

Area
The Izu Peninsula covers a lot of ground: Shuzenji and the Amagi mountains inland, the plateau of Izu Kogen on the east coast, and Shimoda further south. Many people come for the architecture and gardens of long-established ryokan, some of them protected heritage buildings.
Distances are larger than they look on a map. Some inns are easiest to reach by car, so check how you will get from the station before you book, especially if you plan to visit more than one part of the peninsula.
What each property’s official FAQ, access, dining and terms pages say. These are the hotel’s general rules, not the conditions of a particular plan. “Not stated” means the hotel does not say, not that there is no limit.
