Luxury hotels in Tokyo

Most of Tokyo’s luxury hotels sit on the upper floors of office towers in Otemachi, Marunouchi and Nihonbashi, with more around Roppongi, Toranomon and Ginza. They share a skyline, but the direction and the height of the rooms change what you actually see: the Imperial Palace gardens, Tokyo Bay, or Mount Fuji on a clear morning.

Guests tend to come for two reasons: a special occasion, or a business trip extended by a night. If you are here for the city, a hotel near Tokyo Station makes arrivals and day trips easy. If you want the hotel itself to be the point, look for the ones where the pool, spa and club lounge are part of the stay.

Room capacity and beds, sharing a bed, cots, connecting rooms, the pool and breakfast

What each hotel’s official FAQ and room pages say. Not a ranking. A free bed-sharing rule does not tell you how many people a room takes; check the room’s capacity when you book. “Not covered here” means we have not checked it, not that it is missing.
