  The Hiramatsu is located some 20 minutes by car from Karuizawa train station. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a warm and lovely host, who showed us to our rooms and explained the amenities. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and bright. The staff were attentive throughout our stay and were detail oriented. For example, they timed the cleaning of our rooms to when we were out and about. There was also turn down service daily. The room had a private hot onsen, which was fabulous! The Hiramatsu is set off a main road but has wonderful views of nearby mountains. We dined at the Italian restaurant in the evenings for the duration of our stay. The food portions were just right and were delicious. Breakfast was also wonderful. Some variety in menu options would have been a nice touch, but not a critique. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

  THE HIRAMATSU KARUIZAWA MIYOTA is one of the best Hotels we ever stayed. Firstly, the hotel staff were amazing friendly, helpful…everyone is working very hard….truly remarkable. Of course, the mountain scenic from our room, Sky view Conner Suite is absolutely stunning.   Very spacious rooms and well designed. Plenty of spaces in the hotel to relax and the campfire in the evenings was a nice touch. We had dinner at the French restaurant, the food was good but ambience felt a bit stuffy. There was some confusion on the 12:00 pick up to the station, I had to check on the pick up at 12:07 before we were assisted to our car.
